GREEN TEAM PARTICIPATES VIRTUALLY IN NATIONAL STUDENT LEADER SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE

Six Merle-Smith Campus students participated in a student leader sustainability conference on Friday, January 12,  with other high schoolers from across the United States.

 

In break out groups, the student-led discussion focused on sharing information about the barriers students encounter to sustainability initiatives in schools and how those barriers might be overcome. Students together brainstormed about how to inspire their classmates, communicate more effectively, and propose initiatives at their schools.

Moravian Academy Green Team participants included Anya Chadha '24, Aman Desai '24, Diya Sharma '25, Sarah Carter '26, Gavin Qian '27, and Maddie Yang '27.
