The Office of Institutional Advancement, with the help of countless volunteers, hosts several fundraising and community events throughout the year. These events not only raise more than $200,000 for operations at the school including: faculty and staff salaries and benefits, facilities maintenance, educational programs and financial aid, but also add to the fabric of the Moravian Academy community. The main fundraising events at Moravian Academy include the Auction, the Country Fair, and the Golf Outing.
Moravian Academy AuctionThe Moravian Academy Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year. Since 1983, the Auction has raised more than $3.3 million for our operating budget, funding projects including: technology and facility upgrades, financial aid, faculty professional development, and so much more. These unrestricted funds, which typically amount to more than $165,000 each year, ultimately benefit each and every one of our students. There are so many ways our community gets involved: volunteering on the Auction Committee, donating an auction item, advertising in our Auction catalog, sponsorship, or attending the event to partake in a fabulous evening of fun!
Golf Outing
Each year, Moravian Academy hosts a Golf Outing at one of the Lehigh Valley's beautiful and challenging 18-hole courses to raise unrestricted funds for the school. More than 100 golfers traditionally participate and include parents of current students and alumni, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the school. The day concludes with an awards ceremony, and cocktails and fare.
