Moravian Academy Fall 2024 Athletic Update

It’s thrilling to see our fields buzzing with fall athletes once again! After a long break, our Upper School teams are back in action and hitting the ground running. Varsity Golf is off to a stellar 9-1 start, with just one match left before they head to the Colonial League Championship on Monday, September 16th. Varsity Girls’ Tennis is also making waves with a 7-1 record. Their only loss came against Parkland, but the team is ready to charge ahead, aiming for a league title and District gold.

The rest of our Upper School teams are getting into the rhythm of their seasons as well. Boys’ Soccer, coming off a District Championship, recently secured a win against Catasauqua, bringing their record to 4-2. Girls’ Soccer is on a roll, boasting a 5-1 record after a thrilling double-overtime victory over Southern Lehigh.

Our Field Hockey team, while facing a challenging start, is ready to end the week strong as they take on Pen Argyl. Cross Country has been busy, competing in the Lions’ Invitational, which hosted over 850 runners from 25 schools, along with three Colonial League meets. The boys’ team currently holds a 4-6 record, while the girls stand at 3-7.
