MAX | Enrichment Camps (Ages 3-Grade 8)
offer exciting weeklong experiences to explore, create, and play in a fun, supportive environment designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Led by Moravian Academy’s talented faculty and expert guest instructors, each week delivers hands-on adventures in athletics, arts, STEM, and more. Campers build friendships, discover new interests, and grow confidence through engaging, skill-building activities.

Whether trying something new or diving deeper into a favorite passion, MAX | Enrichment Camps provide memorable summer experiences that connect students with teachers, peers, and the pure joy of learning.

Extended Care

We know families have busy schedules, so we’re pleased to offer convenient extended care options on both campuses:
  • Early Arrival: 7:30 – 9:00 AM
  • Aftercare: 3:00 – 5:30 PM
  • Cost: $20 per morning or afternoon session, purchased weekly
  • Drop-in Option: Families may use extended care as needed — the weekly rate will simply apply for that week.

    Early Learners: Storybook Adventures

    This week of summer camp brings classic children's books to life through themed activities, creative art projects, and interactive games inspired by beloved stories. Each day features a different book, allowing campers to explore characters, settings, and adventures in fun, hands-on ways.

    Traveling through South America

    Join us on an exciting cultural journey across South America! Children will “travel” to a different country each day and explore its traditions through music, dance, games, crafts, and simple cooking activities. From making arepas in Colombia to decorating llamas inspired by the Andes of Ecuador and creating fun maracas, campers will discover the rich culture and flavors of this beautiful continent,while practicing Spanish in a fun and interactive way!

    Rube Goldberg's Simply Complex Machine Camp
    Grades: 2-6

    Join Mr. Elstein and Mr. Pomeroy for an exciting program where we’ll be creating a series of simple machines that join together into a complex creation! Inspired by Rube Goldberg, a well-known comic artist and engineer who designed overy complex machines that experiment with cause and effect, this exciting program will give participants the opportunity to create kinetic sculptural designs that encourage teamwork, experimentation and humor. In other words, we will spend an exciting week making complicated machines that do simple things! In addition to a daily helping of science, art and engineering, campers will also enjoy a daily swim time and some fun in the sun with their friends each day! We hope you can join us!


    Exploring Latin American Culture (SIP)

    Fiestas y Tradiciones del Mundo Hispano

    Celebrate the joy and color of Hispanic culture! Each day, campers will experience a different festival or tradition, from Mexico’s Day of the Dead to Spain’s San Fermín and Peru’s Inti Raymi. Through music, dance, games, crafts, and simple cooking activities, children will explore the spirit of these celebrations while learning Spanish.

We will be working with a variety of different artistic media including paper mache, masking tape, and clay to create several sculptural masterpieces while building new friendships and memories!     Spend a week getting inspired by nature! In this exciting art camp students will create several crafts and works of art inspired by the world around them. We will learn about land artists, the upcycle art movement, and how to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.     LEGO Spike Prime Coding and Robotics

    Adventure awaits students in grades 5–8 at the LEGO Spike Prime Coding & Robotics Summer Camp! Get ready to dive into an exciting world of coding, robotics, and creativity where innovation meets fun. With guidance, participants will start by mastering block-based coding, and then level up their skills by diving into the powerful world of Python programming.     Our 6-week Summer Surge Academic Program is designed to help students who are currently in grades K-5 students build confidence and skills in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math. This intensive program meets learners where they are and supports them in achieving meaningful growth through tailored, individualized instruction. Using benchmark data to establish starting points and regular progress monitoring to track growth, each student will receive targeted, personalized instruction. With small cohort groups of 4 students per teacher, the program fosters individualized attention and a supportive learning environment. Our goal is to combat the "summer slump" by providing engaging and effective instruction that empowers students to experience a "summer surge" in their academic skills, preparing them for the upcoming school year with renewed confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

    Moravian Academy/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Dance Workshop – Week 1

    Discover the joy of dance this summer at the Moravian Academy/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Dance Workshop, designed for both beginning/intermediate and intermediate/advanced dancers!     Participants will explore ballet, modern, and jazz dance styles in dynamic, age-appropriate sessions. Each three-hour session is packed with rigorous technique training, creative expression, and body conditioning, providing an authentic glimpse into the life of a dancer.

    Get animated! In this exciting camp we will explore a variety of different stop motion animation styles using a combination of hands on and computer based art mediums. Our animated journey will culminate in the creation of several short animated films! In addition to daily adventures in animation this program will also feature lots of opportunities to collaborate with friends and enjoy fun in the sun.     Beyond the Outer Limits!

    Explore the outer limits of your imagination (and beyond!) at Moravian Academy’s own space and aviation camp! We’ll spend the week investigating flight and rocketry, exploring the US Space Program, participating in simulated flight training, and designing and building airplanes and rockets. We invite all future astronauts, space enthusiasts, and aviation admirers entering grades 4 to 8 to join us for this special week as we dive into the science, mystery, and majesty of Earth’s atmosphere and outer space. Lower School Science teacher Brad Pomeroy and Middle School Science teacher JoAnne Daniels attended Space Academy for Educators at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama during the summer of 2010. Mr. Pomeroy teaches science to children in grades K-5 and Mrs. Daniels teaches middle school science, math, and robotics at Moravian Academy. They will lead the week’s activities which will be largely based on NASA Education and Space Camp lessons. Repeat campers are always welcome!
