Boat Building with Northampton Community College Fabrication Lab

Workshop Dates:

  • Week 1: June 16 – 20, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Week 2: June 23 – 27, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Cost: $900 for a two-week course, plus a $75 materials fee.
Join us for an unforgettable two-week group project where students will collaborate to design, construct, and launch two pedal boats! Guided by skilled instructor, Michael Brolly, participants will explore the basics of boat design, construction techniques, teamwork, and water safety.
 
Students will work together to bring their ideas to life, using problem-solving and creative thinking to overcome challenges and craft functional vessels. The program wraps up with a thrilling launch day, where both boats will set sail on the beautiful Lehigh River in a celebration of teamwork and achievement.
 
Perfect for curious minds and aspiring makers, this workshop offers a dynamic and fun-filled learning experience that blends hands-on skills, collaboration, and adventure.

Moravian Academy/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Dance Workshop

Discover the joy of dance this summer at the Moravian Academy/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Dance Workshop, designed for both beginning/intermediate and intermediate/advanced dancers! This two-week program offers an immersive experience led by expert instructors from the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Dance Department.
Participants will explore ballet, modern, and jazz dance styles in dynamic, age-appropriate sessions. Each three-hour session is packed with rigorous technique training, creative expression, and body conditioning, providing an authentic glimpse into the life of a dancer.
Session Options:
  • Intermediate/Advanced Dancers (Ages 14+): 9 AM–12 PM
  • Beginning/Intermediate Dancers (Ages 11–13): 12 PM–3 PM

Budding Entrepreneurs

Program Dates:

This program empowers campers with an entrepreneurial mindset to develop a business plan for their very own business ideas, drawing from such disciplines as marketing, finance and strategy, in a supportive environment fostering teamwork.  From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits, campers have fun while developing business savvy!
Sports Management

Program Dates: July 14-18, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Grades: 6-8
Instructors: Offered with SPARK Business Academy
Location: Merle-Smith Campus
Cost: $425
For the sports lover, future team General Manager, sports team owner, ESPN analyst or coach, this unique program helps campers view the world of sports from a business perspective.  Students actively discuss and analyze different topics, including player contracts, mock drafts, NIL in college sports, endorsements, the Nike vs. Under Armour competition, the Super Bowl, e-sports and more!



Bakithi Kumalo Music Mentor Camp

Dates: July 14–25, 2025 (Monday-Friday)
Times:  Students should arrive by 12:30 PM.  Program runs from 1:00-5:00 PM
Grades: 7-12
Location: Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University
Instructor: GRAMMY® Award-Winning Bassist Bakithi Kumalo
Cost: $900 for two weeks
Join the Bakithi Kumalo Music Mentor Camp for an unforgettable two-week experience with international music legend Bakithi Kumalo, renowned bass player for Paul Simon. Aspiring middle and high school musicians will have the rare opportunity to study and perform alongside this GRAMMY® Award-Winning artist.
Program Highlights:
  • Open to drummers, keyboard players, bass players, guitarists, horn and woodwind players, and vocalists.
  • Sessions include technique, rehearsal, composition, and performance skills with a focus on forming a jazz/pop band.
  • Culminates in a live performance at Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center.

Pre-Health Professional Camp

Program Dates:

Interested in a career in medicine, nursing, or other health professions? Spend the week learning about various careers in the health professions from practicing physicians, nurses, athletic trainers, physical therapists and others through hands-on activities. Learn, identify, and solve problems using processes and applications in healthcare to examine real-life scenarios. Campers will explore a variety of careers in healthcare.

STEM Multi-Sport 

Program Dates: July 28 -August 1, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Grades: 6-8

How many calories do you burn during a game or practice? Why does a foam football move differently than a regular football? How accurate are your serves? How does a football helmet protect a football player? These are just a few topics that you will learn about from the St Luke’s Sports Performance Team. Spend the week learning not just about the sports you love but diving into the science behind the sport. Learn why things move the way they move and how to improve your skills using science.


Da Vinci Science Center Mobile Fab Lab

Program Dates: August 4-8, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Grades: 6-8

The Da Vinci Science Center’s Mobile Fabrication Lab will bring a week-long summer camp to Moravian Academy, introducing students to the world of digital fabrication. Campers will use cutting-edge equipment such as 3D printers and laser cutters, engage in the engineering design process, tackle creative challenges, and bring their ideas to life through hands-on projects.
Field Trip: Students will visit the Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion to see real-world examples of fabrication and innovation, inspiring them to think like engineers and inventors.

Da Vinci Career Quest

This healthcare-focused camp offers students a unique opportunity to learn about diverse career paths through interactive workshops, VR experiences, and guest speakers. Highlights include the Transfr VR Career Exploration Program, Cyndi, our SynDaver (synthetic human body), which features fully functional systems mimicking live tissue. Our knowledgeable staff will guide campers in understanding how the body works and how to maintain health. 
Field Trip: Campers will visit the Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion to experience healthcare practices in action and utilize Transfr’s VR career exploration and training simulations.
