Summer Learning Intensive July 7 - August 1 |
Skill Surge: Reading & Math July 7 - August 15 |
Grades: K-8
Instructor: Melissa LaRusso & Faculty Location: Swain Campus Schedule: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday - Thursday Cost: $2000/4 weeks The Summer Learning Intensive Program offers students a unique opportunity to strengthen their skills in reading, writing, and math in a supportive and focused environment. Over four weeks, students will participate in small-group sessions led by highly trained teachers, ensuring personalized attention and instruction tailored to their needs. With an emphasis on engaging, hands-on learning, the program helps students build academic confidence, develop critical skills, and foster a positive attitude toward learning.
The benefits of participating in this program extend beyond the summer. In the short term, students experience measurable academic growth, progress toward grade-level expectations, and increased confidence in their abilities. By addressing learning gaps early, students enter the school year better equipped to tackle new challenges, often requiring fewer interventions or supports. In the long term, the skills and strategies developed during the program lay a strong foundation for academic success, helping students achieve their full potential and reducing the likelihood of falling behind in future grades.
