Exploring Science & Creativity at Lehigh University!
Amy Bowser
Moravian Academy’s Downstairs Kindergarteners embarked on an exciting journey to Lehigh University, where science and creativity came to life! In the lab, they explored the wonders of blood cells and examined human, frog, and plant cells under a microscope. Over in the art building, they observed students sketching with a skeleton model and saw designs for an inclusive playground. Engineering demonstrations showcased how simple materials transform into something extraordinary. T
This hands-on experience highlighted the power of discovery and learning beyond the classroom. A heartfelt thank you to Eleanor Liu ’37’s parents, Professor Chenshu Liu from Lehigh University's Department of Biological Sciences and Professor Christina Zhang from the Department of Art, Architecture & Design, for making this trip possible and bringing this incredible learning opportunity to life.
