MAX Pre-Summer Workshop
Before MAX | Summer Camps officially kick off in June on the Swain and Merle-Smith campuses, several of our instructors are offering a special after-school preview experience the week of May 5–9, 2025 on the Swain and Historic Downtown campuses. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to get a sneak peek at the exciting activities, meet the instructors, and experience a taste of the fun and learning they can expect this summer. Below are descriptions of each camp, adapted from our MAX Summer Camp website. Each program will be tailored into a 1-hour workshop for the Pre-Summer Workshop sessions.

Camp Sunshine with Ms. Harding
Curious about what Camp Sunshine has to offer? Join us for a 1-hour after-school Sneak Peek and get a firsthand look at some of the exciting games, crafts, and activities planned for this summer!
Camp Sunshine’s full sessions will run July 21–25, July 28–August 1, and August 4–8, featuring outdoor sports challenges, water fun, talent shows, and creative projects. Come get a taste of the fun and find out why you’ll want to be part of it this summer!

LEGO Spike Prime Coding & Robotics
Adventure awaits students in grades 5–8 at the LEGO Spike Prime Coding & Robotics Summer Camp! Join us for a 1-hour after-school Sneak Peek and get a firsthand look at the exciting world of coding, robotics, and innovation. Students will dive into coding basics with LEGO Spike Prime and get a preview of the creativity, problem-solving, and fun that awaits in the full summer camp.

Join us for a 1-hour after-school Sneak Peek and get a firsthand look at the exciting world of coding, robotics, and innovation. Students will dive into coding basics with LEGO Spike Prime and get a preview of the creativity, problem-solving, and fun that awaits in the full summer camp.
The full LEGO Spike Prime Coding & Robotics Camp will run from June 23–27 and give students the chance to build and program robots to solve real-world challenges. With block-based coding and Python programming, students will work together to design, build, and code their creations while developing essential STEM skills. Don’t miss the chance to preview the fun and get ready to register!
